I have about 200 shots (2 3/4" shells) through my 590 without any issues. A few days ago, I tried a box of 3" turkey loads. Every time I reloaded the magazine, and fired, the last shell would hang up on the shell-lifter inside the receiver. I am assuming the mag spring is too weak to handle the final heavier shell when it is mostly sprung out?
Is this common for 3" shells?
