Hello, has anyone have experience with 3 inch federal magnum 00 buck, with maverick 88 modified choke, what was your pattern results. I'm going deer hunting, but have not used mag buckshot with the mav.

Hi. Welcome to the forum.
Better shoot some of that ammo yourself first. Other guys pattern results don't matter.
And you better learn how to minimize recoil cuz it sure will be eye-opening!
Do you plan to shoot from stands or blinds where your distance is very short? I hope so.

Damn sure got my interest with 3" 00 
Years ago I fired some 3" magnums out of a single shot H&R....as much fun as it was at the time, I doubt I`ll be going that route again!
