All,
I consider myself lucky enough to have obtained a Mossberg 940 JM PRO here in CA. They are scarce (like proverbial hen's teeth) here. This is the the model that is 9 (+1) for a total of 10 ready to go. Will do some range testing soon and report the results. I had to contact Mossberg for the missing choke tubes and manual, and KUDOS to Mossberg, they arrived. I want to send some rifled slugs downrange and pattern and then fire this with some 00 buckshot also. I have the Modified, IC Improved, and the CYL choke tubes now.
If you need choke tubes (I would like a Full) they are the same as WIN Choke). Just call Mossberg and specify for the Mossberg 940 (they are not on the website yet). Mine was accidentally shipped with only the Modified installed. It was supposed to have the other choke tubes also. Might compare it to my Mossberg 590. The 590 is also a 9 (+1). Never sorry I bought that!
