What’s an adequate supply?
"Adequate" to many would be 100s of 1000s of rounds, some are happy with 1000, some consider infinity as the number...
What’s an adequate supply?
Off subject, but curious. Any civil unrest in y’alls area? In my little pond there was a small peaceful protest but it didn’t get crazy thank goodness. This is probably the strangest time I’ve seen in my thirty some odd years. The “Corona Money” was kinda cool though..A wise man learns from the past. I've been through numerous "runs" on guns and ammo. We are now in the midst of a "triple threat":
1. Pandemic.
2. Election year.
3. Growing civil unrest.
If you were not adequately stocked on ammo and maintaining that level of ammo you feel comfortable with, you are entirely to blame for not paying attention, not learning from the past and not acting to secure for yourself the level of ammo you feel most comfortable with. If for you that means, "I buy 50 rounds of handgun ammo every time I head to the range" you are being foolish.
As for me?
I maintain a "minimum inventory" for each caliber I shoot. It is stored in a climate controlled space where I replenish it whenever I use it to maintain that level of ammo I'm most comfortable with.
The rock anthem said it best, "We don't get fooled again."
Incase they stop selling it? Or for 10k maniacs?"Adequate" to many would be 100s of 1000s of rounds, some are happy with 1000, some consider infinity as the number...
Who are you to say 10K rounds are only what "maniacs" buy.
Went to Academy for some 3030. They had some. Got my 2 boxes. Hardly any pistol/ revolver ammo. Shotgun shells are mostly birdshot. Some assorted rifle ammo but nothing I could use. I'll just have to take what I can find.
