The receiver end plate adapter is the ambi version of the mil-spec sling end plate. The only difference is the end plate submitted for mil-spec testing was a right hand shooter version because the ambi end plate hadnt made it through production yet. Otherwise identical in construction which is a nearly 1/4" thick billet of hard anodized aluminum. It looks good and is finished nicely. Easily a competitor along side the GG&G, Midwest Industries and the like. The loop is compatible with HK styled sling hooks, or ITW sling hooks like the CLASH or MASH hooks.
It installed as easily as changing out a stock, though the factory stock bolt was too short to use both the washers. I put one of the washers in with my parts kit and used only the larger of the two. It was then long enough to get enough thread in the receiver. So far so good, we'll see what happens when I start shootin and I'll be updating soon!
