Last shot hold open

I bought my wife a 702 plinkster liked the lightweight and the carbon fiber stock looks good.She started having jamming issues but was not jamming ,the last shot hold open was sticking open,which is weird to me .Anyone have any idea what this is?

Mine is doing the same. Like the charging handle is catching on the notch in the receiver during cycling?

Mine started doing it after a few thousand rounds. Maybe the bolt handle gets too sloppy after a while and starts to move around too much...

The "real" empty mag Lockback is supposed to catch on the mag follower.
So removing that mag lets the bolt fall unless you manually lock it all the back.

Can you see where it is catching?
When it happens, release the mag and see if it drops
