If it loos like a little cap, with a slit and a small hole on either side, you can use split-ring pliers to close the cap & remove it. Or, you can simply pry it out with a screwdriver. In either case, just be aware that the spring will jump out, if you don't cover the limiter cap with your hand, as you remove it.
