Metal trigger group on 500E?

I had heard that the metal trigger group from the 590-A1 will drop in to a 500 E in .410. is this true?

Absolutely not.

The .410 caliber 500E and 12 gauge 500A/590 receivers are built to different dimensions. The 590A1 trigger housing is much too wide to fit into the 500E receiver...
