Want to extend the tube on my 500 12gauge. Anyone know the material they are made of? Measured OD at .985". I'll match the material kind, OD, I'D and cut off the threaded cap, weld the new extension on, reels the threaded cap. Will need a longer spring. Can anyone point me to a longer spring to use?
Also, relocating the tube clamp on the barrel, is it soldered, bolted ir brazed, friction fit on? What is it made of? How can I reattach it Thanks for the help..
