Mossberg 500/590 drum mag conversion kits??

I was in my local shop and saw these drum conversion kits on the rack. I didn't have time to check them out as I was just grabbing some .22 ammo. I think the kit prices were like $200-$300 with extra drum mags available. I will take a better look next time I am in there. Has anyone else seen these? I did I miss a thread somewhere? Has anyone used one and if so what was it like? - headhunter2

Thanks old mossy! After reading some of the comments I will wait for one of the kits to show up second hand. I can do 8 rounds now so 10 isn't worth that price. The extra weight would help recoil maybe but the bulk may also get in the way. - Headhunter2
