I got a chance to buy the Mossberg 800c in the 22-250.The gun is in very nice shape.They're asking $400.00.Does this seem a little steep?I was thinking $300.00-$350.00. Any thoughts?

The 800C was produced in 1968, but in smaller quantities than the A & B. How many I'm not sure but if the gun is as nice as you say and I wanted it I wouldn't let fifty bucks stop me. I have a 800B/243, it does have some usage but it is a very good shooter. The old Mossys are getting harder to find, offer them 350 and see what happens. These 800's are very good guns.
