I recently acquired a Mossberg Model L. Does anyone have an idea of how many were produced. Mine has the slightest amount of free play when the barrel is mounted(it is a take down). Can this be corrected?

information is about a year old but this is what i came up with from google searching...

Mossberg model L was made from 1929-1932
excelent condition $450.00
Very good condition $325.00
good condition $250.00
average trade in $130.00


I know people will pay a premium for these if they are in pristine condition.
 
Thank you. I know I paid a premium for the L, but it is the first one I have actually held in my hands. Still interested in production numbers.
