"Polishing" bolt and bolt slide

Am I going to gain anything by smoothing down / polishing the bolt slide and other contact surfaces? I'd just use a whetstone or such.

I had issues with unloading and loading. after I did those mods I had no further problems
with snagging and hung up shells. I also had a problem with the cartridge stop. I had to really force the shell to
overcome the stop. I found that the angle at the end was not angled much at all and the end just was chopped
off and had a rather sharp end. so after looking at different pictures I filed a bit of angle to the end and cleaned
up the sharp end. now loading the shell requires very little effort beyond overcoming the spring. discussion here.

yer welcome. just ask if you need clarification. although non of my issues were serious, the mods just made it so much smoother to operate. just a heads up. do any mods in small steps. I didn't have to do as much as was pictured to make mine function properly.
