Pumping 590a1 directly after shot not possible - moddable?

I find that pulling back on the forend of a loaded 590a1 provides a pretty stable platform as well as stopping the forend from rattling. The problem when doing that is that the forend is blocked from pumping after firing until you stop holding it rearward. Is that behaviour moddable? If it is, is it advisable to do so?

Welcome to the forum.

You must be pulling back extremely hard while the round ignites.

Don't try to mod it. Not necessary. Just learn to shoot a pump shotgun correctly.

I have fired some shotguns where you can hold light pressure rearward when you fire a round and it helps to make pumping the action a little faster.

The Winchester 1300 speedpump is a prime example of that.

But, the bolt is different on the Winchester. So, you can't really do that with a Mossberg.
