The wooden dowel is almost exclusively the first thing that goes the second I bring a shotgun through my door.

Same dowel rod with two rubber o rings that came with mine 13 years ago. lol, and it works. Some states have capacity restrictons for shotguns when hunting upland game/waterfowl. Mine hasnt been installed in about 12 years, but i keep ahold of it.

Range report.

Took my present to the range today and got it dirty. Put some #4 buck and 1 oz slugs thru it. All I can say is, it gets the job done with authority!
