An exacto knife can turn a book into box in a couple of minutes. They keep focussing on trivial details rather than addressing the real problem....bad parenting, bullying and the virtualization of our interactions.
I wont blame video games directly but its easier to be hatefull and mean to someone via social media than it is face to face or even talking on the phone. Many digital convieniences are desensitising kids and making them lose respect and empathy for others.
The more virtual our interactions become the more problems we will see.
Its the culture thats changing and causing the problems. Guns and backpacks have been virtually unchanged since long before any of this has started.
