It's still all about money. These kids are running the streets looking for acceptance from the worng people. They think these gang bangers have their back. What they do instead is get them killed. They need jobs, skills and hope. Not going to get that the way things are going. So sad.

Criminals by definition don't care about the laws. They also prefer east, safe targets for their prey.

Ironically the strict gun laws in Chicago and NYC are enabling exactly the opposite type of behavior they are intended to discourage.

On a semi related note, I just found out that the city I live in has once again topped the FBI's list of most violent citys in America.
 
Wow, I thought Philadelphia was bad. This will play into the anti gunners playbook and they will claim that all is needed to fix it is more gun laws or confiscation.
