Unloading Your 930 SPX

When unloading your 930 SPX do you use the Mossberg EZ- Empty system? While holding the elevator (carrier) down with your thumb, press the bolt release. This will release one round from the magazine tube under spring pressure. Repeat this procedure until the magazine tube is empty. I also like the new bolt handle and now they have a sling mount on the front stock.

That method seems to be the easiest for me for sure. Similar method for my 870 as well, minus the button LOL!

Yes. that procedure is the best way to empty your 930's magazine.

What I said earlier was that I always use the EZ system, and its best to understand the functionality of yoru firearm. Its a great feature the SPX has, it is definitely safer than cycling the action. Not that I can forsee the need "in my use" but it does have a tactical benefit to being able to quietly unload a shell or two.
