Yep, you read it correctly. A bill was submitted yesterday that would prohibit the sale/transfer of so called assault weapons in washington state, and would also allow the sheriff to do a compliance check in gun owners homes once a year.
Sadly, there are several manufacturers that would be affected by this.
Olympic Arms, Mega, and Aero Precision just to name a few.
Olympic and Aero also makes receivers for various other companies too, so this would not just affect these three.
Aero makes receivers for PSA, Spikes, Surplus Ammo and Arms, Olympic has made them for NUMEROUS other companies over the years as well.
