Weight 12g vs 20g

It looks like the 20 gauge 590 7 shot (18.5" ) weight is 7 pounds, while the 12 gauge weight is 6.3 pounds. Wondering why that is.
 
Welcome aboard. The M590 20 ga is just shy of an inch longer. Maybe this explains it. Loaded up the 20 ga will be lighter.
 
Contacted Mossberg email.......they said the 6.3 may be a typo and that they would be with a few ounces of each other. Did not give a specific weight though
