Items needed:
XS Front Sight for plain barrel # SG-2003-3
Isopropyl alcohol
JB Weld Kwik Epoxy
Cotton swabs
Small Vise Grips (I like the needle nose version for this because the jaws are almost parallel)
5/32" wrench
Thread locker (not shown)
Remove the factory bead with a 5/32" wrench (or vise grips)
Clean the barrel and threads thoroughly with the alcohol and a swap.
Apply thread locker to the supplied replacement bead.
Install bead with vise grips, DO NOT overtighten
Now is also a good time to clean the sight base with alcohol and a swab.
Mix equal parts of JB Weld epoxy thoroughly
Fill the void in the underside of the sight and apply a light coat to the mating surface.
Excess epoxy will ooze out once pressure is applied to the sight, it is easily cleaned up with a dry swab followed by a swab dampened with alcohol.
With a piece of cardboard to prevent marring the sight, clamp it in place and allow the JB Weld to harden.
The JB Weld "Kwik" will set up in minutes at room temp and fully cure in 4 hours.
There you have it, an upgraded sight for your Mossberg in 15 minutes or less...
