The color of the wood turned out really nice it is just hard capturing that in the right light.

Not real pretty on the buttons for the light and laser but it works well.
Can shorten the LOP and turn to the right to bring the scope into view. Hit a bulls eye at 50 yards. Not bod for a shakey old man.
Not really proud of the scope, laser or light but I'm always on a tight budget. Less than $1000 for this, six mags and a nice bag.
It's fun to shoot and accurate as well. Took no time at all to get it all sighted in.
What do you think?
Wife wanted to know where I got the new gun. She has already spent time with it at the range.
The bi-pod works wonders for the shakes.
Turned the Magpul sight around to clear the riser and still work. The see through Weaver sight rings allow use of the iron sights.

I like it and I hope some of you do as well.
Had to grind down one picatinny rail to fit around the scope mounting ring.
Anybody up to some varmint hunting?

SpringField Armory Loaded, looking for grips at the moment. No complaints, it's a Fantastic Shooter no less, but I really need some more time with this baby. I'm happy with its bone stock appearance.
Mossberg 835 with slug barrel, and Millet SP-2 RedDot. Currently having Rods Custom Stock work for an adjustable comb. Can't wait to shoot this setup.
Mossberg M590A1, shorty. I do have a butt stock for it but will have to get some photos to do it justice. The Mossberg 835 hopefully will get parkerized to match the 590A1. I have yet to shoot the 835 with the short barrel, HAHAHAH M835A1 :twisted:
I will have to get some range photos with these babies someday here at the property.
As far as refinishing (Parkerizing), any ideas as to who? Looking to get the 835 matched to the 590A1. I'm not sure where to look for here is Norcal, CA. I wouldn't mind shipping if that is the only case.

Here is I believe my finalized version. Since last November I have added the Aimpro heatshield, Mesa Tactical shell carrier, and changed my light mount due to the heatshield. I went from a CDM Gear MTC mount to a CDM Gear MOD C mount.
Mossberg 590A1 18.5" bbl, GRS, Limbsaver recoil pad, Aimpro heat shield, S&J Hardware +2 extension w/ spring & follower, Mesa Tactical shell carrier velcroed to receiver, SF 6P w/ Malkoff LED, standard military sling, CDM Gear MOD C light mount. The MOD C works great since I have the S&J extension. The MOD C does not fit the stock 590A1 18.5" or 20" bbl shotguns. With an extension it works though. I also made my own extra shell carrier out of an old grenade pouch. Overall I am happy with the set up.
