it shoots awesome......I cut it down and pinned the Flash hidder now its 18.25"... also the flash Hider is threaded for chokes..
after another 300-500rds I'll do a polish and trigger job.
Little blurry and not the group pic I wanted to take, wanted to take them all outside but I was mounting a scope and thought what the heck, might as well.
The new unfired Ruger 77/44 of the wives, old Mossberg 500 20 gauge that's been duracaoted and had the stock replaced due to too many cracks to repair and bluing all wore off but throws a slug good. The last deer I killed was with this gun.
Springfield 22lr with a vintage Weaver 3-6X scope, CVA Wolf 50 cal front stuffer with a Vortex scope, and the Mossberg 243 with a Burris Fullfield II 4-5-14X42 AO.
The 243 and CVA just had scopes put on them and not even dialed in, and the 44 needs some love yet. Next range session I'm taking all but the 20 gauge and hopefully the wife to get shooting, she hasn't ever shot but did go hunting with me last year.
800 rounds of 22 left, 140 44 mag, 50 for the CVA and 100 ish for the 243. Should make for a good day of shooting.
Came home today with the Remy 700 SPS Tactical 20'' short action .308 with Leupold mount/rings and Nikon glass due to the budget...Going to the range tomorrow to get her sighted with Federal 168g. Very siked!! (can someone please rotate this image, thanks)
Thanks for all your help, couldn't be an happier. I will be sniping coyotes with her the next couple months and will start a new thread of the damage in the hunting section. First hunt is this weekend so hopefully I can get some blood on her.
edit: due want KRG bolt lift SV but cant find it in stock anywhere...
