The two I'm looking at are the Remington 11-87 and Winchester X-3. It's going to be a while before I buy, so I haven't done a whole lot of research yet.

My barrel came in today. Thank heavens and the folks on this forum, it fits. But, as always when dealing with Maverick Arms, there was a glitch. They didn't send the choke tubes or wrench. I called them and was told I could expect to see them in about two weeks. Keep in mind, it took them 3 weeks to get my barrel to me, after it sat lost in their shipping department for two weeks, so I'm not holding my breath. Ugh.... no more Mossbergs. I should've kept my 870.

Glad you got your barrel and that really sucks about the choke tubes & wrench.

The folks down there just can't seem to get out of their own way...
